I will be drawing Mature and sometimes Adult rated fanart for the next few pieces, similar to my recent Felicia piece below.
I am willing to take suggestions on characters you'd like to see me to do hi-res pixel art of!
I mainly focus on mature female characters. I might do males in the future though.
I'll be doing fanart for bit, then once I'm satisfied, I'll start work on concept art for my upcoming game: Loveiathans!

So I beat Mario bros 1 for the first time on stream. I had 30mins left so I doodled.
This fucking hammer Koopa made the last two levels take half my stream.

Going to get back to work on my stream assets and boot up my nostalgia arc, likely starting with the Mario bros series...
I'll be streaming the games and all the meanwhile making art of aspects I like about the games.

Until I get to a point where I'm like, "Yeah, I'm sure I could complete that in a reasonable amount of time" with art I really want to do, I will always hate my art.
The hate fuels me to improve.

I started a practice where is draw via pencil in the morning, then I'll do pixel versions at night.
I want to get good at art to where I can draw quickly (within reason of my experience) and have something okay from imagination. I will likely always need references, but I at least want to be able to make half decent doodles from imagination.
Currently I'm am looking into eyes and stylized eyes. Don't know why, but I lean towards cartoon eyes mostly.

I'm not a big creator by any means, but I've been curious of the political makeup of those who follow me.
I'd be interesting to hear what others tend to consider themselves; left, right, center, libertarian, monarchist, anarchist, etc etc.
I myself tend to be libertarian leaning with an emphasis on free speech.
Feel free to share as little or much detail as you wish. I'm just curious.

Good Saturday Mortals!
An update for my upcoming piece featuring Isabelle! I also wanted to post to check in on everyone!
I still have lots to do for my upcoming animations. I'm finishing up Isabelle's idle. Then, I'm going to work on the little guys. Once a full idle animation is set, I will be adding another scene of animation. In other words, STILL LOTS TO DO!
I might do a smaller artwork when I take breaks from this piece. The last thing I want is to get burnt out from so much animation!
How have your projects been going? Do you believe you are improving your craft?

I think I finally found my flow with art.
Simply put, do one doodle from imagination and another without looking at the drawing (contor practice).
After that, use reference and make a ton of crappy doodles.
Then once I have a solid idea how I want the piece, do a very basic loose mankind. Then, start piecing tie getter details.
Good sleep also helped a lot. I woke up at 3am this morning and couldn't sleep. Instead of wasting time tossing around in bed, I got up and made art progress.
I'd be interested to here other peoples' art methods!

Did an off the cuff test run of reading Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven."
People have requested I do reading and possibly ASMR in the future. Currently waiting for my modeler to finish a few emotes first.

Gonna post a bit of self loathing to get it off my chest.

I'm trying to sort a style that is somewhat cartoonish, easy to use for animation, characters can still look attractive (for the style), and still seem solid for action moments.
It is particularly the speed aspect I'm trying to improve on. I have people who really like my work, but I'm soooo freaking slow with my art.
It's a mix of motivation and skill. On the motivation side, I don't draw every day. I'm lucky if I get motivated to do just one drawing every other week. A mix of not building a drawing habit as well as work tiring me.
I wish I was more consistant so I can improve and start making fun content like a welcomic, animations, and art for my video game. It severely holds me back. I have so many ideas yelling at me to get out but I can never quite get them on the screen.
It is at times depressing and makes me consider giving up and just playing video games and streaming.
